Job summary

Bentley Systems is seeking an Account Manager to develop and execute campaigns, driving new business within existing accounts in the State DOT arena across North America. You will leverage Bentley’s transportation software portfolio to advance digital transformation from design to asset management, collaborating with solution engineering, support and product teams.

This home-based, full-time role requires building relationships at multiple levels, managing a CRM pipeline, and traveling up to 50%

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ proven experience in selling software solutions into the government sector.
• Knowledge of CAD/BIM solutions is required and ideally with a Transportation background.
• Proficiency with Bentley’s product portfolio at a business level.
• Demonstrated ability to work on a cross-functional team of technical, marketing and sales personnel.
• Background in direct communication and account-based marketing to generate pipeline.
• Passion for hitting targets.

Responsibilities

• Create effective business plans to expand use of Bentley’s portfolio within your assigned region.
• Prospect for new business opportunities and drive sales to exceed quota.
• Develop relationships at C-Level, VP and Directors within accounts through direct sales and on-site meetings.
• Develop a sales pipeline and forecast revenue by following the sales process and CRM.
• Promote Bentley’s value proposition to designers, engineers, contractors and owners to meet business objectives.
• Travel to user sites up to 50% of the time may be required.
