Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Acceptance Testing Technician, Energy Storage - Level 2 for a remote role with heavy travel to substations and PV facilities across the U.S. You will manage testing, maintenance and troubleshooting, lead technicians, and ensure safety and quality in all activities.

The role requires extensive electrical testing expertise, the ability to work remotely from varying sites, and strong documentation skills to complete test reports and compliance records.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an electrician testing technician in substations or BESS yards.
• Travel availability to job sites up to 75% of the time.
• OSHA 30 certification and NFPA 70e or equivalent safety training required.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and fault-finding procedures.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise site testing, maintenance, repair and troubleshooting as directed by management.
• Perform energized electrical work in compliance with safety standards.
• Prepare and review complete test reports and documentation.
• Lead and train Testing Technician Level I personnel and ensure safety compliance.
