Job summary

SOLV Energy, LLC is seeking an Acceptance Testing Technician, Energy Storage - Level 2, to manage testing, maintenance and repair activities in substations and PV facilities. This remote role requires heavy travel to diverse job sites; location details will be discussed in the interview.

The job emphasizes safety, documentation, and leadership in supervising level I technicians, with strong emphasis on NETA standards and field testing expertise.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years as an electrician testing technician in substations or BESS yards.
• Pursue C-10 contractor license or Certified Electrical Worker Card.
• Willing to travel up to 75%.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• NFPA 70e Safety Training certification or equivalent.
• STS certification.
• Ability to pass exams on electrical schematics and symbols.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise site testing, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting as directed by management.
• Perform site testing, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting and energized electrical work per safety standards.
• Prepare timely and accurate documentation and required reports.
• Lead and participate in safety policy development and training.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, and teammates; ensure safe work environment.
