Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Acceptance Testing Technician, Energy Storage - Level 2, to manage testing, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair activities at substations and PV facilities. This remote role requires extensive travel to various job sites and strict adherence to safety standards and company procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years as an electrician testing technician in substations or BESS yards.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• Travel up to 75% of the time.
• Valid NFPA 70e safety training or equivalent.
• Valid Safety Trained Supervisor (STS) certification.
• Ability to pass electrical schematics and symbols exams.
• Adequate driving record and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise site testing, maintenance, repair and troubleshooting as directed by management.
• Perform site testing, maintenance, repair and energized electrical work per safety standards.
• Prepare timely and accurate documentation and required reports.
• Lead and train Testing Technician Level I employees and review test results.
• Develop and write Standard Operating Procedures and safety policy documents.
• Collaborate with clients, vendors, and teammates to ensure project success.
