Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Acceptance Testing Technician, Energy Storage - Level 2, to manage testing, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair activities in substations and PV facilities. The role is remote with heavy travel to varying job sites; specifics discussed during interview.

Responsibilities include directing site testing, supervising Level I technicians, and producing complete test reports while upholding strict safety standards and company procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3–5 years as an electrician testing technician in substations or BESS yards.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• Ability to travel 75% of the time.
• Valid Safety Training certifications (NFPA 70e, STS) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead site testing, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting as directed by management.
• Supervise Testing Technician I employees and provide training.
• Prepare timely, accurate test reports and documentation.
• Ensure safe working environment and adherence to company safety standards.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, and teammates.
