The candidate will be based in Oregon and conduct tick and tick-borne disease surveillance in partnership with the State of Oregon Public Health Division.## Essential Job Duties:* Conducting tick collections in natural areas of Southern Oregon* Collect and summarize tick data## Conditions of Employement:Pre-employment Criminal Background Check (required for new hires)## Supervision:This position has no supervisees and will be managed by Dr. Elizabeth Hemming-Schroeder.## Minimum Qualifications:* Must be able to work 8 to 20 hours per week.* Willing to travel to field sites in Southern Oregon.* Willing to hike in natural areas for tick collections.* Ability to work in collaborative teams.* Ability to follow safety guidelines.## Preferred Qualifications:* Experience working with ecological field work.* Experience working in a public health or lab setting.# Salary Range$15.16 to $20.00 per hour# Required Application DocumentsTo apply, please upload the following applicant documents.
