Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Acceptance Testing Technician, Energy Storage - Level 2. This remote role requires heavy travel to substations and PV facilities, with location details discussed at interview.

You will manage testing, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair activities while upholding safety standards and client satisfaction. Minimum 3–5 years as an electrician testing technician, OSHA 30, NFPA 70e, STS certifications, and the ability to travel 75% are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with relevant electrical experience.
• 3–5 years as an electrician testing technician in substations or BESS yards.
• Able to travel up to 75% and pass required safety exams.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise site testing, maintenance, repair and troubleshooting.
• Perform energized electrical work following safety standards.
• Prepare timely test reports and paperwork.
• Lead and train Testing Technician Level I personnel.
• Manage multiple jobs, liaise with clients and teammates.
