Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Acceptance Testing Technician, Energy Storage - Level 2, to manage testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting in substations and PV facilities. The role is remote with heavy travel to job sites across the U.S.

Responsibilities include supervising tests, ensuring safety, and producing detailed test reports. Qualified candidates will have 3–5 years as an electrician testing technician, OSHA 30, NFPA 70e, and relevant licenses or certifications, with strong communication

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Progress toward C-10 license or Electrical Worker Card.
• OSHA 30 and NFPA 70e certifications required.
• Willingness to travel up to 75%.

Responsibilities

• Oversee testing, maintenance, and repair activities at substations and BESS yards.
• Direct and supervise site testing and troubleshoot electrical systems.
• Prepare and review test reports and ensure safety compliance.
• Train and certify Testing Technician Level I staff.
