Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Acceptance Testing Technician, Energy Storage - Level 2, to manage testing, maintenance, troubleshooting and reporting in substations and PV facilities. This remote role requires heavy travel to varying jobsites nationwide, with location details discussed in interview.

The candidate will lead testing efforts, supervise Level I staff, and ensure safety and documentation standards are met across projects.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years as an electrician testing technician in substations or BESS yards.
• Willingness to travel 75% of the time.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• NFPA 70E Safety Training certification required.
• STS certification preferred.
• Ability to pass exams on electrical schematics, hydraulics, and pneumatic diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Testing Technician Level I staff and trainees.
• Direct and coordinate site testing, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting.
• Perform energized electrical work in compliance with safety standards.
