Job summary

SOLV Energy, a nationwide provider of infrastructure services to the power industry, seeks an Acceptance Testing Technician, Energy Storage - Level 2. This role manages testing, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair activities in substations and PV/BESS facilities.

It is remote with heavy travel to varied job sites. You will supervise technicians, ensure safety compliance, prepare test reports, and coordinate with clients and vendors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an electrician testing technician in substations or BESS yards.
• Willingness to travel 75% of the time.
• Ability to pass exams on electrical schematics, troubleshooting, hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise site testing, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting as directed by management.
• Perform energized electrical work strictly adhering to safety standards.
• Prepare timely and accurate test reports and documentation.
• Lead and train Testing Technician Level I employees.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors and teammates.
