Job summary

Paige Renewable Energy, a GCG company, seeks an Electrical Design Estimator to translate drawings, BOMs, and requirements into accurate estimates for utility-scale projects across North America. You will perform material takeoffs, develop pricing, and coordinate with Sales, Engineering, and Supply Chain to enable successful execution.

Qualifications

• 3+ years electrical estimating or equivalent experience
• Ability to read electrical drawings and specs
• Experience with detailed material takeoffs and project estimates
• Proficiency with Excel and takeoff software (Bluebeam)
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Review RFQ packages, drawings, site layouts, single-line diagrams, specs and BOMs to understand scope.
• Perform detailed electrical material takeoffs and counts.
• Develop project estimates including material costs, vendor pricing, freight and manufacturing costs.
• Identify discrepancies, missing information, scope gaps and risks; document assumptions and clarifications.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain and manufacturing for pricing and lead times.
• Support proposal development, design revisions, BAFO activities, and estimate revisions.
• Maintain organized, traceable estimating files for independent review.
• Assist in project award and handoff to align estimates with PO.
