Job summary

Paige Renewable Energy, a GCG company, is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Estimator to support utility-scale renewable energy projects across North America. The role translates drawings, BOMs, and requirements into accurate estimates, conducts material takeoffs, and collaborates with Sales, Engineering, and Operations to position projects for success.

The position offers a remote work environment with preference for candidates in the Eastern or Central Time Zone to align with the team

Qualifications

• 3+ years of electrical estimating experience
• Ability to read electrical drawings and BOMs
• Experience with detailed material takeoffs and project estimates
• Strong understanding of electrical materials and distribution systems
• Proficiency with Excel and document-review software

Responsibilities

• Review RFQ packages and drawings to understand scope
• Perform detailed electrical material takeoffs and pricing
• Develop project estimates including costs and lead times
• Identify discrepancies and risks and document clarifications
• Coordinate with Supply Chain for pricing and availability
• Support proposals, revisions, and BAFO activities
• Maintain organized estimating files for independent review
• Assist in project handoff and changes as needed
