Job summary

Paige Renewable Energy, a GCG company, seeks an Electrical Design Estimator to support utility-scale renewable projects across North America. The role translates drawings and BOMs into accurate estimates and coordinates with Sales, Engineering, Project Management, Supply Chain, and manufacturing partners to ensure successful execution.

This remote-friendly position favors candidates in the Eastern or Central Time Zone to align with the team schedule.

Qualifications

• Ability to interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and BOMs.
• Strong math and analytical skills with high accuracy.
• Experience in estimating and material takeoffs for utility-scale projects.

Responsibilities

• Review RFQ packages, drawings, and BOMs to define scope.
• Perform detailed electrical material takeoffs and counts.
• Develop project estimates including pricing and lead times.
• Identify issues and document assumptions, exclusions, and clarifications.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain and manufacturing for pricing and inputs.
• Support proposal development and BAFO activities.
