Job summary

Paige Renewable Energy, a GCG company, seeks an experienced Electrical Design Estimator to support utility-scale renewable energy projects across North America. You will translate drawings and BOMs into accurate estimates, perform detailed material takeoffs, and collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Supply Chain to position projects for successful execution.

This remote role favors candidates in the Eastern or Central Time Zone to align with team schedules.

Qualifications

• 3+ years electrical estimating experience or equivalent construction/design experience with estimating
• Ability to read electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, site plans, specifications, BOMs

Responsibilities

• Review RFQ packages and drawings to understand scope and requirements
• Perform detailed electrical material takeoffs and develop project estimates
• Coordinate with Supply Chain and manufacturing for pricing, lead times, and costs
• Identify discrepancies, risks, and required clarifications, documenting assumptions
• Support proposal development, design revisions, and BAFO activities
• Maintain organized, traceable estimating files for independent review
• Contribute to estimating tools, templates, and processes
