Job summary

JoVE is seeking dedicated sales professionals to drive the adoption of JoVE products at universities and colleges. Own full sales cycle, from prospecting to close, presenting online and in-person to researchers, teaching faculty and academic librarians.

We are fully remote and value data-driven decision making, collaboration with Marketing and Customer Success, and a path for growth. A Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of sales experience are required; travel at least 2 days per week is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• 3+ years of sales experience, EdTech, STEM publishing or SaaS.
• Proven ability to acquire new customers and grow accounts.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Experience with Salesforce or similar platforms.
• Willingness to travel at least 2 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Own full sales cycle, from prospecting to close.
• Present the product online and in-person to researchers, teaching faculty and academic librarians.
• Proactively build & maintain pipeline through emails, calls and in-person meetings.
• Analyze trends and make data-driven decisions based on priorities in your work.
• Work effectively with Marketing and Customer Success to deliver on sales targets, renewals, team projects and campaigns.
