Job summary

John Deere is seeking a Territory Sales Manager for the East region, remote from Boston, MA. You will lead with dealers to drive sales of construction equipment and attachments, coordinating with the territory team and supporting local events.

Travel up to 75% within the territory is expected. Applicants should have construction equipment experience, strong relationship skills, and the ability to translate Deere and dealer needs into effective strategy and execution.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction and/or off-road equipment industries.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a track record in relationships.
• Ability to bridge Deere and dealer business in strategic/tactical talks.
• Creative thinker who identifies issues and solves with teamwork.
• Solid time management, prioritization and planning abilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Responsibilities

• Lead with dealers to drive sales of whole goods and attachments.
• Coordinate with territory team and support local events and associations.
• Manage sales processes and drive customer solutions with dealers.
• Implement strategic initiatives within the assigned territory.
• Achieve incoming and gross margin goals across sales targets.
• Provide input, production and sales training with dealers.
