Job summary

MTM, Inc. is seeking a Regional Ambulance Manager (East) to oversee ambulance vendor recruitment, provider relationships, network management, and cost analysis across the East region. This remote role may travel up to 25% within the East region of the United States.

You will lead end-to-end vendor onboarding, negotiate pricing, monitor performance metrics, and ensure adherence to MTM contracts and protocols. A strong EMS background and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• 5+ years EMS or ambulance operations experience (7+ preferred).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Full lifecycle recruitment of ambulance vendors throughout assigned region; identify, contract and onboard ambulance vendors
• Lead the retention of and recruitment of the existing network to ensure that networks are comprehensive in geographic coverage
• Negotiate pricing and trip coverage expectations with providers
• Evaluate performance and costs of ambulance providers and hold vendors accountable for metrics such as on-time performance, cost and customer service satisfaction
• Maintain understanding of client expectations, contract agreements, state/local/client ambulance rates and protocols, Medicaid/Medicare fee schedules, and service level expectations
• Work with Mobile Integrated Health team to ensure strong ambulance partnerships for community paramedicine and in-home services
• Oversight of internal ambulance processes, provider training, and claims resolution
• Drive ambulance cost containment initiatives through recommendations on average costs per trip, per mile, etc.
• Monitor service levels and trip scheduling to meet client and contract expectations
• Provide providers with answers and guidance on ambulance operations from initial trip scheduling through reimbursement
• Oversee consistency of ambulance policies and procedures
• Monitor monthly performance metrics including recruitment activity and progress towards goals; ensure metrics are met
• Track and report ambulance and Mobile Integrated Health implementation progress
• Provide support with the client when needed
• Ensure providers are educated and trained per MTM and contract requirements
• Participate in planning, revisions, implementation of amended regulations
• Facilitate town halls, conventions and seminars
• Act as ambulance SME for the company and stay updated on industry trends
• Ensure process and quality, monitor to meet contract standards
• Execute on new implementations and client expansions
