The role supports engineers, project managers, and other team members while ensuring adherence to company standards. Remote work is available with preference for Mountain or Pacific time zones; the position involves final reviews, template development, and PDF production, aiming for polished, accessible documents across BC

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years related work experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical Editing Certificate or related experience.
• Experience developing, customizing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Microsoft Word templates.

Responsibilities

• Apply styles and templates to the document to adhere to the current BC Style Guide Standards and Templates.
• Check word spacing and spell check.
• Format Section Titles/Header/Footers.
• Update or create Table of Contents.
• Verify word spacing meets template guidelines.
• Ensure proper pagination and page numbers are correct.
• Verify Figures and table numbering and captions are correct.
• Maintain document version control and secure storage.
• Facilitate communication between departments regarding document updates.
