Job summary

Brown and Caldwell, Inc. is seeking a Document Specialist to format and produce high-quality technical reports, memos, and client deliverables using Word and PDF tools.

You will collaborate with engineers, PMs, and other professionals to ensure consistency with brand standards and accessibility requirements. You will manage multiple assignments with deadlines, assist with proofreading, template development, PDF production, and document reviews while staying aligned with BC style guides.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years related work experience.
• Experience developing, customizing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Microsoft Word templates.
• Experience supporting engineering/technical services firms and delivering complex documents.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality deliverables by adhering to company style guides and client requirements.
• Develop and maintain company templates for uniform documents.
• Perform readability reviews and provide editing for clear content.
• Lead final document reviews for accuracy and quality.
• Create PDF bookmarks and assemble documents into PDFs.
• Mentorship and knowledge sharing with junior teammates.
