Job summary

National General Holdings Corp., part of The Allstate family, is seeking a Direct Sales Agent Specialist to drive growth by acquiring new business and cross-selling to existing customers. You will build a local pipeline, engage with dealers and partners, and work in retail stores and over the phone to deliver tailored solutions.

You will be responsible for meeting sales goals, maintaining a strong book of business, and staying informed on product guidelines and market competition.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in sales or customer service.
• P&C licensing is preferred or must attain licensure within 90 days of joining.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales goals through new business, cross-sell, and retention.
• Build and maintain a pipeline with local lead generation and referrals.
• Develop relationships within the community (dealerships, events, local partners).
• Conduct outbound prospecting and follow-ups to convert opportunities into sales.
• Partner with leadership to support sales and local marketing initiatives.
• Stay informed on products, underwriting guidelines, and market competition.
• Deliver results aligned with performance standards, compliance, and customer experience.
