Job summary

The ALS Association seeks a Development Manager to lead signature fundraising events in Upstate NY and support local third-party efforts. You will build relationships with supporters, recruit volunteers, and identify corporate prospects to grow ALS awareness and funding.

Responsibilities include planning income portfolios, coordinating with event teams, managing budgets, traveling across the territory, and partnering with Care Services, MarCom, and Giving staff to maximize impact while upholding

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum 2 years in fundraising, event management or related fields.
• Ability to run reports and analyze data for outreach planning.
• Strong organizational skills and reliable prioritization.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute income portfolio goals with multiple fundraising events in Upstate NY.
• Recruit, steward, and retain committee chairs and members; build community partnerships.
• Coordinate with Event Experience team to manage logistics, printing, and promos.
• Operate within approved budgets and track spending.
• Collaborate with Care Services to involve people living with ALS in activities.
• Work with MarCom to meet marketing and PR objectives.
