Job summary

The ALS Association is seeking a Development professional in Indianapolis for remote работу with a nationwide reach. You will lead signature fundraising events, recruit and steward volunteers and chairs, and work with partners to meet annual income goals.

The role supports a multi-state development effort and requires travel within the territory. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in fundraising or event management, strong relationship-building skills, and proficiency with MS Office and CRM

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred.
Minimum 2 years of fundraising, event management, volunteer development and donor relations experience.
Ability to build relationships with sponsors, donors, and community partners.
Experience with peer-to-peer campaigns, sponsorship planning, and budget management.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and video conferencing software; Salesforce or another CRM preferred.

Responsibilities

Plan and execute an income portfolio goal of at least $300,000 across 2-3 events per year.
Recruit and steward honorary chairs, event chairs, and committee members; build community partnerships.
Conduct meetings with sponsors and donors; ensure sponsorship benefits per plan.
Collaborate with Marketing to coordinate event publicity and materials.
Ensure compliance with Association standards and budgets; monitor performance weekly.
Travel as needed within assigned territory for events and outreach.
Engage Care Services to involve ALS community in awareness and fundraising.
Contribute as a proactive member of the Territory team.
