Job summary

ABB Inc. seeks a Data Centers Key Account Manager to drive the global solutions strategy, grow ABB's Data Center portfolio, and boost customer satisfaction in the assigned sub-segment.

You will own customer accounts, manage orders and forecasting, and collaborate with global and regional teams to convert opportunities. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering Discipline highly preferred; equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years' experience in data center, critical power, power quality or closely related industry at senior level.
• 12+ month sales cycle experience in consultative technical sales.
• Attention to detail, self-starter, proactive, ability to learn, good interpersonal skills and result oriented.
• Willing to travel within the United States and some overseas 50% of time; applicants should have a valid US Passport.
• Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office & Salesforce.com.
• Applicants must have work authorization that will allow them to work permanently in the United States now and in the future

Responsibilities

• Generating new business, increasing ABB market share and exceeding the target sales figures with profitable growth for the ABB Group Data Center portfolio in the assigned sub-segment.
• Manage and take ownership of assigned customers for all product lines, including orders, forecasting and issue resolution.
• Engage with colleagues including global, regional and country segment leads to develop and deliver action plans that secure new and existing opportunities.
• Collaborating with Product Managers, hold training seminars and other events to promote ABB Solutions in the assigned sub-segment through internal sales, channel partners, consultants, contractors, OEM and end-users.
