ABB is seeking a Director-level leader for the Data Center Services Center of Excellence in the United States. The role oversees day-to-day service activities and a surge team, with the work model remote within the U.S. and a preference for Western/Mountain time zones.

Responsibilities include driving service strategy, improving customer experience, and ensuring safety and compliance. Travel up to 50% and collaboration across ABB teams are required.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business or commensurate experience.
• Knowledge of Data Center Start-up and Commissioning strategies and field service personnel development.
• Experience with electrical industry in the Data Center market.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.

• Oversees Surge Team operations, including onboarding, training, compliance, and validation of timesheets, expenses, and supplier invoices.
• Provides leadership, coaching, and development for Field Service Engineers/Technicians to ensure high‑quality execution.
• Collaborates across ABB teams to assign personnel, resolve technical issues, support project execution, and drive continuous improvement.
