Job summary

SHI International is seeking a Manager of Presales Engineering to lead a team of Engineers, Architects, and Specialists in delivering technology solutions. This remote role requires residence in specific US regions to support business needs.

You will coach, train, and develop Solutions Engineers, participate in customer meetings to advance deals, and work with the team to close opportunities, while guiding strategic initiatives and market credibility in enterprise IT.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Minimum 5 years in a Pre-Sales Technical role.
Minimum 3 years of experience with complex Data Center, Cloud, Collaboration, Security, and Network sales opportunities.
Minimum 2 years development and coaching experience.
Position requires 35% travel for business.

Responsibilities

Engage with multiple layers of client contacts (CIO, CTO, IT Directors, Application Managers) to sell, build relationships, and uncover opportunities.
Collaborate with the sales team to help close deals by addressing the technical aspects of solutions.
Engage with Local Technology Community and appropriate customer technical personnel to establish market credibility.
Strategically train the sales team on positioning company solution practices and enterprise needs.
Monitor employee performance, provide feedback, and drive recognition.
