Job summary

SHI International Corp. seeks a Manager of Presales Engineering to lead a team of Engineers, Architects, and Specialists focused on delivering the right technical solutions to meet customer needs.

The role coaches, trains, and develops Solutions Engineers, participates in customer meetings to advance deals, and works with the sales team to close opportunities. Remote, US-based with regional coverage, and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 5 years in a Pre-Sales Technical role.
• Minimum 2 years development and coaching experience.
• Position requires 35% of travel for business.

Responsibilities

• Engaging with CIO, CTO, IT Directors, and Application Managers to sell, build relationships and uncover opportunities.
• Collaborating with sales team to help close deals by speaking to the technical side of recommended solutions.
• Engaging Local Technology Community and appropriate customer technical personnel to establish market credibility.
• Strategically training sales team on positioning of company solution practices and customer needs.
