Job summary

SHI International is seeking a Manager of Presales Engineering to lead a team of engineers and specialists, coaching them to deliver the right technical solutions. This role involves participating in customer meetings, moving deals forward, and closing opportunities with the team.

Remote work is supported from US regions, including West/North East/Southeast/Texas. The role emphasizes leadership, strategic training, and collaboration with sales to position solutions effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 5 years in a Pre-Sales Technical role.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with complex Data Center, Cloud, Collaboration, Security, and Network sales opportunities.
• Minimum 2 years development and coaching experience.
• Position requires 35% of travel for business.

Responsibilities

• Engage with CIOs, CTOs, IT Directors, and Application Managers to sell, build relationships and uncover opportunities.
• Collaborate with the sales team to close deals by addressing the technical aspects of solutions.
• Engage with the Local Technology Community and customer technical personnel to establish market credibility.
• Strategically train the sales team on positioning company solutions to meet ongoing enterprise needs.
• Monitor employee performance and attendance, provide feedback, and drive recognition.
