Job summary

SHI International is seeking a Manager of Presales Engineering to lead a team of engineers, architects, and specialists focused on delivering the right technical IT solutions and advancing customer engagements.

The role involves close collaboration with sales to close deals, training the sales force on solutions, and moving opportunities through the pipeline. Remote work is available for eligible US locations, with about 35% travel.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
Minimum 3 years in Data Center, Cloud, Collaboration, Security, and Network sales opportunities.
Minimum 2 years development and coaching experience.

Responsibilities

Sell and build relationships with client organizations; engage CIO/CTO and IT directors.
Collaborate with sales to address the technical side of solutions and close deals.
Engage the local technology community and partner teams to establish credibility.
Train the sales team on solution positioning and current enterprise needs.
Monitor performance, provide feedback, and drive recognition across the team.
