Job summary

SHI International, a global IT solutions provider, seeks a Manager of Presales Engineering to lead and mentor a team of Solutions Engineers. You will assist in shaping technical proposals, coach engineers, and participate in customer meetings to move deals forward.

The role supports multiple US regions and requires remote work with travel allowances. The position emphasizes leadership, collaboration, and strategic technical expertise to close complex IT solutions for customers across data

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
Minimum 5 years in a Pre-Sales Technical role
Minimum 3 years of experience with complex Data Center, Cloud, Collaboration, Security, and Network sales
Minimum 2 years development and coaching experience
Position requires 35% of travel for business
Base salary range is $144,000 - $296,000

Responsibilities

Engage with CIOs, CTOs, IT Directors, and Application Managers to sell and build relationships
Collaborate with the sales team to address the technical side of solutions and help close deals
Engage with Local Technology Community and partners to establish market credibility
Train the sales team on company solution practices and customer needs
Monitor performance and attendance, provide feedback, and drive recognition and improvements
