ProAg, a member of Tokio Marine HCC group, is seeking a results-focused Business Development Manager. This remote role supports the eastern region of the United States, primarily Iowa and South Dakota, with heavy travel to meet sales goals and recruit agents.

You will develop strategic relationships, drive profitable growth, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s in business/marketing or related field and at least six years

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 6 years of relevant and progressive sales experience.
• Crop insurance experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with confidentiality and diplomacy.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills; able to multitask and work independently.

Responsabilidades

• Develop relationships with prospective crop insurance agents in SD or IA and recruit them to ProAg.
• Work with current agents to place more business with ProAg.
• Identify agents fitting culture, profitability, and geography to grow profitable business.
• Travel extensively and flexibly to meet sales goals.
• Drive profitable growth through sales efforts and agent-focused marketing initiatives.
• Pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, trade shows, and partnerships.
• Monitor market trends and adjust sales strategy to maintain competitive advantage.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, product, finance, and operations.
• Maintain relationships with current books of business through on-site visits and issue resolution.
