ProAg, a Tok io Marine HCC group company, seeks a Business Development Manager to develop strategic relationships with crop insurance agents in the eastern US and South Dakota or Iowa. This role requires extensive travel (up to 70%) and individual contributor responsibilities to drive profitable premium growth.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in business/marketing and 6+ years in sales, with strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of sales experience.
• Crop insurance experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with confidentiality, tact and diplomacy.
• Strong organizational and analytical abilities; can multitask independently.

Responsabilités

• Recruit crop insurance agents in South Dakota or Iowa to place business with ProAg.
• Grow business with currently appointed agents by increasing their placements with ProAg.
• Identify agents who fit ProAg culture and profitability; drive growth.
• Travel extensively (up to 70%) to meet sales goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align go-to-market efforts.
