Requirements include a bachelor’s degree (or 120 credits) in social work or related field, and at least 1 year in mental health or crisis intervention.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or 120 college credits in Social Work or related field, or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in mental health, crisis intervention, or related field.
• Ability to remain calm and apply logical reasoning in high-stress situations.
• Must complete CONTACT Crisis Counselor Basic Training within two weeks of employment.

• Attend meetings and supervision sessions via Microsoft Teams; participate in training for chat and phone services.
