Job summary

Dash0 is seeking a Commercial Solutions Engineer to join our OpenTelemetry-native observability platform. You will act as a trusted technical advisor to our largest customers and prospects, bridging product and customer outcomes with architectural demos and PoCs.

This US-based remote role (East Coast preference) involves designing, presenting, and validating Dash0's capabilities in real-world environments, collaborating with Sales, Product, and Engineering to drive value for customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in pre-sales or sales engineering in B2B SaaS.
• Experience with OpenTelemetry or observability ecosystems.
• Ability to design PoCs, demos and architectures.
• Strong technical communication to engineers and decision-makers.
• Collaborative across Sales, Product and Engineering.
• Experience in a high-growth startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect observability solutions leveraging OpenTelemetry, Kubernetes, and cloud-native technologies.
• Translate complex customer requirements into scalable, performant Dash0 implementations.
• Develop and execute Proofs of Concept that highlight Dash0's differentiated technical capabilities.
• Deliver engaging technical demos and presentations tailored to engineering and executive audiences.
• Partner with Account Executives throughout the sales cycle to position Dash0 as the technical solution of choice.
• Provide architecture guidance on observability setup, telemetry data modeling, and OpenTelemetry collector design.
• Create and maintain reusable demo environments, reference architectures, and POC templates.
• Contribute to technical content - blog posts, conference talks, and documentation that drive community engagement.
