Job summary

Dash0, a remote-friendly observability startup, seeks a Commercial Solutions Engineer to bridge product and customer outcomes. You will design, demonstrate, and validate OpenTelemetry-based solutions for enterprise environments, collaborating with sales and product teams on proofs of concept and architecture discussions.

This US-based remote role may travel to customers; internal title: Solutions Architect.

Qualifications

• Deep technical knowledge of Kubernetes, OpenTelemetry, observability pipelines, and distributed tracing.
• Hands-on instrumentation, telemetry ingestion, and performance optimization.
• Strong understanding of modern DevOps, SRE, and platform engineering practices.
• Proven ability to create and execute technical demos, architectures, and POCs.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect observability solutions leveraging OpenTelemetry, Kubernetes, and cloud-native tech
• Translate complex customer requirements into scalable Dash0 implementations
• Develop and execute Proofs of Concept to highlight Dash0 capabilities
• Deliver engaging technical demos and presentations to engineering and executive audiences
• Partner with Account Executives to position Dash0 in the sales cycle
• Provide architecture guidance on observability setup and telemetry data modeling
• Create reusable demo environments, reference architectures, and POC templates
• Contribute technical content to drive community engagement
