Job summary

LCS Financial Services Corporation is seeking an experienced Remote Collections Specialist to join a nationwide remote team. You will negotiate resolutions on delinquent accounts, establish payment plans, and use skip-tracing tools to locate borrowers while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Candidates should have at least 2 years in third-party debt collection, strong communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to work independently from a distraction-minimized home workspace.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of third-party debt collection experience.
• Strong negotiation, persuasion, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Proven ability to manage collection accounts and negotiate successful payment arrangements.
• Working knowledge of applicable debt collection laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound collection calls to negotiate resolutions on delinquent accounts.
• Negotiate payment arrangements and settlements based on borrowers’ finances.
• Use skip-tracing tools to locate borrowers and assets.
• Manage assigned portfolios and prioritize collection activities to maximize recovery.
• Maintain detailed and accurate account documentation.
• Deliver professional interactions while navigating challenging conversations.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local collection laws and company policies.
• Maintain communication with management and team while working remotely.
