Job summary

LCS Financial Services Corporation is seeking an experienced Remote Collections Specialist to join a nationwide team from home. You will manage inbound/outbound calls, negotiate settlements, and apply skip-tracing techniques to recover delinquent accounts while maintaining compliance and professionalism.

You should have at least 2 years of third-party collections experience, strong negotiation and communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a distraction-free home office.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of third-party debt collection experience.
• Strong negotiation, persuasion, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Knowledge of debt collection laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Managing inbound and outbound collection calls to negotiate resolutions on delinquent accounts.
• Negotiating payment arrangements and settlement agreements based on borrowers' financial circumstances.
• Utilizing skip-tracing tools to locate borrowers and assets.
• Managing assigned portfolios and prioritizing collection activities.
• Maintaining accurate and detailed account documentation.
• Delivering professional, respectful interactions while navigating difficult conversations.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable laws and company policies.
• Maintaining consistent communication with management and team while working remotely.
