LCS Financial Services Corporation is seeking a Remote Collections Specialist to join our nationwide team from home in the United States. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of third-party debt collection experience and strong negotiation skills to achieve resolutions on delinquent accounts.

You will negotiate payment arrangements, use skip-tracing tools, and manage portfolios while maintaining professional, regulated communication.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of third-party debt collection experience.
• Strong negotiation, persuasion, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Proven ability to manage collection accounts and negotiate successful payment arrangements.
• Excellent verbal communication, active listening, and telephone etiquette.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to team goals.
• Professionalism, reliability, accountability, and a positive attitude.
• Working knowledge of applicable debt collection laws and regulations.
• Must reside and work in an LCS-approved state.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound collection calls to negotiate resolutions on delinquent accounts.
• Negotiate payment arrangements and settlement agreements based on borrowers' financial circumstances.
• Utilize skip-tracing tools to locate borrowers and assets.
• Manage assigned account portfolios and prioritize collection activities to maximize recovery.
• Work toward individual and department performance goals.
• Maintain accurate and detailed account documentation.
• Deliver professional, respectful customer interactions while handling difficult conversations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and company policies.
• Maintain communication with management and team while working remotely.
