LCS Financial Services Corporation is recruiting for a 100% remote Collections Specialist to support a nationwide team. The role emphasizes negotiating resolutions, maintaining compliance, and building rapport with borrowers while working from a home office.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in third-party collections, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple accounts independently. Experience with skip-tracing and regulatory knowledge is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of 2 years of third-party debt collection experience.
• Strong negotiation, persuasion, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Proven ability to manage collection accounts and negotiate successful payment arrangements.
• Excellent verbal communication, active listening, and telephone etiquette.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to team goals.
• Professionalism, reliability, accountability, and a positive attitude.
• Working knowledge of applicable debt collection laws and regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to maintain a professional, distraction-minimized remote workspace suitable for confidential customer conversations.
• Reliable internet connectivity sufficient to perform job responsibilities.
• Ability to remain available, responsive, and productive throughout scheduled working hours.
• Must reside and work in an LCS-approved state.

Aufgaben

• Manage inbound and outbound collection calls to negotiate resolutions on delinquent accounts.
• Negotiate payment arrangements and settlement agreements based on borrowers' financial circumstances.
• Utilize skip-tracing tools and investigative techniques to locate borrowers and relevant assets.
• Manage assigned account portfolios and prioritize collection activities to maximize recovery opportunities.
• Consistently work toward individual and departmental performance goals.
• Maintain accurate and detailed account documentation.
• Deliver professional, respectful customer interactions while navigating difficult conversations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local collection laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain consistent communication with management and team members while working remotely.
