Job summary

LCS Financial Services Corporation is hiring a Remote Collections Specialist to join a nationwide team. You will negotiate resolutions on delinquent accounts, set up payment arrangements, and leverage skip-tracing techniques to locate borrowers while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in third-party debt collection, strong negotiation and communication skills, and a proven ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of third-party debt collection experience.
• Strong negotiation and conflict-resolution skills.
• Excellent verbal communication and active listening.
• Ability to work independently while meeting team goals.
• Knowledge of debt collection laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound collection calls to negotiate resolutions on delinquent accounts.
• Negotiate payment arrangements and settlements based on borrowers' financial situations.
• Use skip-tracing tools to locate borrowers and assets.
• Manage assigned portfolios and prioritize activities to maximize recoveries.
• Maintain accurate account documentation.
• Communicate professionally during difficult conversations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable collection laws and company policies.
• Maintain regular communication with management while working remotely.
