Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an Educator/Trainer to support PB Coding and Coding Integrity teams in a fully remote, full-time role. You will deliver initial training and ongoing education to coders and clinicians, develop presentations and tools, and track learner progress.

The position requires recent production coding and specialty coding experience, AHIMA or AAPC certifications, and five years in physician revenue cycle coding.

Qualifications

• Recent production coding and/or coding integrity experience required.
• Specialty coding experience across physician specialties preferred.
• AHIMA or AAPC certification required or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Coding Leadership, IT, and Revenue Cycle leadership.
• Deliver coding education to coders and clinicians, including in-person and virtual formats.
• Develop and update educational materials, manuals, and facilitator guides.
• Schedule and track education programs using Learning tools and platforms.
• Assess educational needs and adjust programs to improve learning outcomes.
