Zusammenfassung

Advocate Health is seeking an Educator/Trainer to support PB Coding and Coding Integrity teams. The role involves developing and delivering coding education to coders and clinicians, both in-person and virtually.

Minimum 5 years of medical coding experience and AHIMA or AAPC certifications are required. This is a fully remote, full-time position with benefits eligibility and state remote approvals.

Qualifikationen

• Recent production coding and/or coding integrity experience preferred.
• Specialty coding experience preferred (surgical, anesthesia, etc.).
• 5+ years of experience in medical coding required.
• AHIMA or AAPC certifications required.

Aufgaben

• Present coding education to coders and clinicians, in person or virtually.
• Identify educational needs and tailor sessions accordingly.
• Develop and maintain web-based coding education programs.
• Schedule trainings using Learning Connection, ATMS, or Teams.
• Support train-the-trainer sessions for Coding Supervisors and Leads.
