Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an Educator/Trainer to support PB Coding and Coding Integrity teams. The role includes presenting coding education to coders and clinicians, developing training programs, and scheduling sessions across the organization.

Candidates should have 5+ years of medical coding experience, specialty coding knowledge, and AHIMA or AAPC certifications. This is a fully remote role with state eligibility, and strong adult-learning skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Advanced coding certifications per AHIMA or AAPC (listed above).
• 5+ years of medical coding experience in physician revenue cycle processes.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver coding education to coders and clinicians.

Responsibilities

• Presents coding education to coders and clinicians, in person or virtually.
• Develops and maintains coding education programs, tools and documents.
• Schedules and tracks education offerings and learner progress.
• Collaborates with leadership to tailor content to organizational needs.
• Creates train-the-trainer sessions for new instructors.
