Qualifikationen

• 5 years of medical coding experience, including physician revenue cycle processes.
• Recent production coding and/or coding integrity experience preferred.
• Specialty coding experience in surgical, anesthesia, pain management, hepatology, nephrology, anticoagulation, radiation oncology, interventional radiology, dental coding, and other physician specialty areas.
• Coding certifications such as CPC/CCS-P/RHIA/RHIT/APPC/AAPC/BMSC are preferred or required per role.

Aufgaben

• Collaborate with Coding Leadership, IT, Org development, Revenue Cycle leadership, Compliance leadership, etc.
• Present coding and documentation education for initial training and continuing education to coders and clinicians.
• Identify, trend and report coder educational needs and develop sessions.
• Keep current with adult learning trends; schedule education using Learning Connection, ATMS, Skype or Teams.
• Develop and maintain web-based coding education programs and track progress.
• Create training materials, learner manuals, and facilitator guides; conduct train-the-trainer sessions.
