Advocate Health seeks an Educator/Trainer to support PB Coding and Coding Integrity teams. You will lead in-person and virtual training, develop resources, and tailor programs for coders and clinicians.

Required are AHIMA or AAPC certifications and advanced medical coding knowledge. The role is fully remote with a 40-hour weekly schedule and strong education coordination responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Recent production coding and/or coding integrity experience preferred.
• Specialty coding experience in physician specialties is preferred.
• Advanced training in medical coding education and adult learning principles is expected.

Responsabilités

• Presents coding and documentation education for coders and clinicians, in person or virtually.
• Develops and maintains education presentations, tools, and documents.
• Schedules education programs, tracks participation and outcomes, and adjusts content as needed.
• Creates and maintains web-based coding education programs and learner materials.
• Delivers train-the-trainer sessions for coding staff leaders and educators.
