Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an Educator/Trainer to support PB Coding and Coding Integrity teams. The role is remote with a Monday–Friday schedule and a 40-hour work week. You will deliver coding education to coders and clinicians, in person and virtually, across the organization.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of medical coding experience, AHIMA or AAPC credentials, and advanced training in coding. You will create training materials, assess learning needs, and collaborate with leadership to

Qualifications

• Must have completed an accredited medical coding program.
• 5 years coding experience in physician revenue cycle.
• AHIMA/AAPC credentials preferred (e.g., CPC, CCS-P, RHIA/RHIT).

Responsibilities

• Deliver coding education to coders and clinicians, in person and virtually.
• Identify educational needs and develop training plans.
• Develop web-based coding education programs and track progress.
• Coordinate with leadership to schedule trainings.
• Create facilitator guides and learner manuals.
