Job summary

Cayenta is seeking a Consulting Manager to lead CIS software implementations and professional services from inception through go-live and stabilization. You will manage a team of AppCons delivering billing, customer service, field ops, and integrations with adjacent systems; drive delivery methodology and maintain client satisfaction across utility/municipal clients.

Qualifications

5+ years in a professional services or consulting role, preferably utility/municipal CIS implementations.
4+ years in a senior/managerial consulting role across multiple CIS projects (or 2+ years in leadership).
Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent software implementations for utilities/municipal clients.
Strong grasp of the meter-to-cash lifecycle and related ERP/IT integrations.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor AppCon and project resources across Cayenta CIS implementations.
Balance resources across engagements to optimize utilization and prevent burnout.
Drive reusable delivery frameworks and agile practices across projects.
Oversee solution architecture reviews, data conversion, and integration design.
Manage budgets, forecasts, and client communications; escalate risks as needed.
Foster client relationships with executive sponsors and ensure smooth handoffs to Support.
Coach teams on knowledge sharing and training; promote AI-assisted workflows.
