Job summary

Cayenta is seeking a Consulting Manager to lead CIS software implementation and professional services engagements. You will manage a team of AppCons delivering utility and municipal CIS implementations, spanning billing, customer service, field operations, and integrations with adjacent systems.

The role emphasizes delivery methodology, solution oversight, on-time and on-budget delivery, and high client satisfaction across a diverse client base.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a professional services or consulting role within utility/municipal software implementations.
• Proven track record managing multiple CIS implementation projects or 20+ upgrades.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication with executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and coach Application Consultants and project resources to meet objectives.
• Provide solution oversight across concurrent Cayenta CIS implementations and mentor consultants.
• Allocate resources across engagements to optimize utilization and prevent burnout.
• Foster an agile, accountable team culture focused on learning and growth.
• Manage budgets, ETC, and variance reporting in coordination with Finance.
• Maintain regular communication with client executives and steering committees.
• Identify delivery risks and coordinate mitigation planning and change control.
