Job summary

Mindrift offers a fully remote freelance role to train and evaluate AI agents on expert-level fluid simulation tasks. You will take CAD geometry, configure and run simulations, build verified reference solutions, and write robust Python checks to validate the agent's results.

Project time estimates are 10–20 hours per week during active phases; compensation up to $69 per hour equivalent, with performance-based bonuses.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• Several years of hands-on CFD with OpenFOAM, Fluent/CFX or STAR-CCM+, including meshing.
• Solid verification and validation practices: mesh-independence studies and benchmark validation.
• Comfortable with Python and GitHub.
• English at B2 level or above.
• Nice to have: aerospace, automotive, offshore or turbomachinery background; multiphase or particle-laden flow experience.
