Job summary

Mindrift is seeking a CFD specialist to train and evaluate AI agents on expert-level fluid simulations. You will take CAD geometry, set up and run simulations, and build verified reference solutions. You will also write Python checks to validate the agent results and perform mesh studies for accuracy.

This fully remote freelance role offers flexible hours (roughly 10–20 hours per week during active phases) and compensation up to $69 per hour, depending on level and pace of contribution.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related field (energy/oil & gas acceptable).
• PhD preferred but not required; several years CFD experience.
• Experience with CFD verification/validation and mesh-independence studies.

Responsibilities
