Job summary

Mindrift seeks a CFD specialist to train and evaluate AI agents on expert-level fluid simulations. You will start with CAD geometry, set up and run simulations, and build verified reference solutions using OpenFOAM, ANSYS Fluent/CFX or STAR-CCM+.

Proficiency in Python and GitHub is required, with a PhD preferred but not required. This remote freelance project estimates 10-20 hours per week, with compensation up to $69 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Advanced CFD experience with OpenFOAM/ANSYS or STAR-CCM+.
• Strong verification/validation methods including mesh-independence.
• Proficiency in Python and GitHub.
• English B2+ level.

Responsibilities

• Train and evaluate AI agents on expert-level fluid simulations.
• Take CAD geometry, set up and run simulations.
• Build verified reference solutions.
• Write Python checks for agent results.
